Christmas Tree by Window

Looking for something fun for the family this holiday season? While Chicago has plenty of exciting holiday activities, you don't need to venture into the city for a little festive cheer. Land Rover of Naperville is here with some of our favorite holiday activities in Naperville so you don't have to ask yourself what to do this holiday season.

Family-Friendly Holiday Activities

Visit "Illumination: Tree Lights" at the Morton Arboretum. Just a short drive away in Lisle, the annual lights offer a 1-mile path with 50 acres of trees. More than just a light show, they have interactive videos, music, and more. Be sure to bundle up, though! The Morton Arboretum is located at 4100 IL 53, Lisle.

Attend Brookfield Zoo's Holiday Magic. The 37th annual Holiday Magic event runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. going up through the end of the year, combining the twinkling lights of the holiday season with ice carving demonstrations, photo ops with animals, and of course Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Brookfield Zoo is located at First Avenue and 31st Street in Brookfield.

Here's one you can do from the comfort and warmth of your Land Rover: Aurora's Holiday Festival of Lights. Running until December 26th, this is one of the largest free outdoor holiday light displays in the state. A 1-mile drive has some unforgettable lighted displays every year, many of which are animated. The Festival of Lights is at Phillips Park, 1000 Ray Moses Drive in Aurora. Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

A Suburban Christkindlmarket is coming to the Naper Settlement! Located at 523 S Webster in Naperville, you can enjoy the festive food, drinks, and gifts without making the trek into the city for the Chicago Christkindlmarket. It's one day only, though, so be sure to go out on December 13, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
